Below is the application template. Please follow these instructions when filling it out:
  • Copy and paste the questions into a NEW post in this forum. TITLE your post according to the instructions in the template.
  • Make your application easy to read. Use a different font color for your answers, use line breaks, use bigger font, use smaller font, do something different - just make your answers distinguishable from the questions.
  • Put some thought into your answers. Please do not give us one word answers or neglect using correct grammar and proper capitalization.
  • Show us you want to be here. If you don't think you can do that or don't feel that you want to be here, then you can stop reading right now.
  • We apologize for the long app but it will help us get back to you faster and we won't have to make you wait.

Please link to a recent World of Logs or WoW Meters Online report that would provide evidence of your awesomeness in a raid setting. If you cannot obtain a parse, please state the reason (i.e. no chance or raiding in the near future).
(This is a mandatory requirement for DPS and highly preferred for tanks and healers. If you don't have a log parse, please obtain one from a raid. There are instructions on how to create a log parse at the websites linked. A screenshot of Recount or a parse from a training dummy does not satisfy this requirement.)

Part 2: Expectations (Yours and Ours)

How did you hear about Catalyst?


Do you know anyone in Catalyst? Have you played with any of our members? If yes, please list their names.


Why do you wish to join Catalyst? What do you think Catalyst will be able to do for you? What will you be able to contribute to us?


We raid 25-mans from 8:30PM-12:00AM EST (Eastern time) Tues-Thurs and do everything else on the weekends. What percentage of these raids are you guaranteed to make?


Do you have a problem sitting out of raids for someone else for whatever reason?


Are you applying to any other guilds at this time? Please list them if any.


Please list any and all guilds you were in and why you left.


Part 3: Extracurriculars

Do you have any other characters that you spend a considerable amount of time on, Alliance or otherwise?
(Please list the names of any toons that fit this criterion and their levels.)


Do you PvP? If so, do you mainly BG, Arena, or partake in world PvP? If you do Arenas, what was your highest-ever rating and what was your team comp?


Please list any resources that you use to improve your playing skill (e.g. ElitistJerks.com, PlusHeal.com, blogs, etc). State none if you do not research your class outside of the game.

Please list the add-ons that you use.


We require our raiders to install DeadlyBossMods, Omen, and Ventrilo (mic not required but highly preferred). Do you have a problem installing and using these addons?


Do you have a working mic to speak over Vent if necessary?
